Are you ready to scrap? Great! Here is free scrapbook layout #1 to get you started...

As you can see, this sketch is based on using three vertical 4x6 photographs on an 8.5 x 11 double layout. The corners on the end photos, as well as the scrapbooking paper borders at the top and bottom of the page, are made by using a corner rounder. These can be picked up at your local scrapbooking shop for less than ten dollars. They are easy to use too (very similar to your standard paper punch).
There are many different ways that you can customize this sketch for your own use. For example, you can substitute another photograph for the journaling block. You could even make this into a 12"x12" double layout - if so, consider adding borders (similar to the top and bottom) to the left and right sides of the layout.
As soon as I get a layout put together using this sketch, I will upload it here. However, if you beat me to the punch, that's okay! Upload a pic of your layout using the form below. After I approve it, it will appear here on the site, serving as an inspiration for other scrapbookers!
Finally, if you liked this free scrapbook layout, help me get the word out about this site- tell your scrapbooking friends about it, and don't forget to bookmark us!
Update: I just completed my layout based on this sketch. Instead of 8.5x11, I used 12x12, so it does look a little different. You can check it out here...
