Are you looking for scrapbook journaling tips? When I went to a beginner scrapbooking party the instructor told us to do some journaling on the page we just made. I completely froze! I had no idea what I should write about. My other fear was I have terrible handwriting and did not want to "ruin" my page. The instructor gave me some scrapbook journaling ideas that I would like to share with you. There is not one set way to journal.
Here are six tips to make your scrapbook journaling experience a little easier.
Tip #1 - Hidden Journaling
If you do not like your handwriting this is a perfect solution for you. It enables you to journal about your photos without having them on public display. Also, if you do not have much room on a page, it is a perfect way to be able to still journal and use very little space.
Some people like hidden journaling because it's fun. It makes it exciting for people to look for the hidden places you put your journaling. These are some places you could put your hidden journaling:
Tip #2 - Make Lists

Making lists is a very easy way for you to journal. This comes in handy when you do not have a lot to say about a particular page. If your page is about a birthday, you can list all of the people who attended the party or all of the presents you received. Or maybe your page will be about your baby .You can list the different milestones your baby has gotten through. Lists also make your page look very organized and easy for people to read.
Tip #3 - Use Poems, Quotes and Song Lyrics

Poems, quotes or songs are the perfect solution when you can't think of anything to write. There are many websites, books or magazines you can get these from. Many are written especially for scrapbookers.
Tip #4 - Write a Letter

Treat your journaling as you would write a letter to somebody. Write down what you would say to somebody if they asked you what was happening in your photos.
Tip #5 - Using Your Computer for Journaling

Type what you want to write on a computer. This is especially nice for people who do not like their handwriting. It is also allows you to check your spelling, change your fonts, and change things if you do not like what you wrote. Simply print onto acid free and lignin free paper and add to your scrapbook page.
Tip #6 - Using Your Own Handwriting

This is the best way to journal in my opinion. Your own handwriting makes your page even more special and different because it came from you. This is a fantastic way for you to connect to future generations.
