Scrapbook Cutting Tools

Scrapbooking cutting tools are very useful when making your scrapbook. You do not need every one of these tools to make a scrapbook. Pick the ones that are most useful to you and fit well in your budget.

Paper Trimmer

Enables you to resize your photos or card stock to make them fit better on your page. I do not cut very straight lines with scissors so I rely on my paper trimmer tremendously! For me this is a MUST HAVE!

This will round the corners of your pictures. This is not a tool you have to have. If you prefer the sharper looking edges that is fine too. There is no right or wrong way.

These scrapbook paper piercing cutters will cut your paper or pictures into different shapes. I have a lot of fun using the different cutters. There are so many scrapbooking paper piercing patterns you can do with these.

Craft Scissors

Adds character your photos. A great inexpensive way to add different designs to the edge of your photos or paper.

Hole Punches

Hole punches can come with just a single hole or with some type of design. The design ones enable you to cut paper into different shapes such as flowers, trees, insects, animals, stars, hearts and the list goes on. The single hole punch is good for attaching certain things to your page like yarn or thread.

This machine is extremely helpful in making you a ton of different die cuts. It makes many different fonts and shapes very quickly. This is a lot easier to use than any other cutter and your scrapbook die cuts come out perfect every time. This machine is a dream for people addicted to scrapbooking. Unfortunately this can be a very expensive machine. You have to buy different cartridges and they are not cheap. For example one type of die cut machine is the Cricut. Cricit Cartridges can run $90.00 a piece. That is the going rate for the other good die cut machines as well. The good news is once you have the cartridges you can use them for a lifetime.
